We’re the sum of all the stories we tell ourselves… about ourselves…

What do you think happens,

When you tell yourself you’re unloveable.
When you tell yourself you’re stupid.
What you tell yourself you’re ugly.
When you tell yourself the world is out to get you.

These stories provide a familiar place for us to feel safe because they’re predictable and create some certainty in life. That’s why so many of us don’t want to shed them.

Who would I be with out my victim identity? I’ve gone for so long not answering that questions conclusively and the unknown is so scary that I choose to just stay the same.

If I live my life today based on my past rather than who am I from now moving forwards I’ll continue to be the same. It’s just that simple.

We have to change the stories we tell ourselves by interrupting our old messaging and intervene by telling ourselves something new.

Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards.
Soren Kierkegaard

The opportunity:

What is the #1 identity that you need to shed?

What do you think would happen if you didn’t think about it or speak it for a week? Month? Year?

Thanks for your time, have a great day!
