I lie to myself all the time. Been doing it all my life. With enough practice any of us can weave a reality to convince ourselves that life can look and be something that it actually isn’t.

I don’t know a ton about lie detector tests but what I understand is that our body responds to the things we think and say. In that, incongruences are detected and interpreted to show where a lie is being told.

With the mind being as powerful as it is and with what is understood about the nature of the mind we can be honest about things that aren’t actually true.

My argument is that unless we’re hunting down the deeper truths because we know the nature of the mind is to find evidence of what we want to believe rather than what actually is we’ll never become aligned with the universe.

The opportunity:

What are you doing to criticize your thoughts?

How do you combat the nature of the mind?

Where does confirmation bias trip you up?

Thanks for your time, have a great day!
