It sure can seem like the world is falling down around us. And most people I meet in my life wear a facade. I do this, I learned it was important to be a nice guy, to be liked, so I learned to make it a secret that my life was self oriented. I set up a reality where I acted like I was trying to please others but my true desire was to make gains for myself and I ended up in conflict often.
I still do this, at times, and I bet you do it too and the world suffers when I/we indulge in that part of ourselves.

Our culture has developed more and more ways to connect, to reach out, consume data and seek but what we’re losing our ability to do is to go within, we actually receive conditioning to the opposite.

We all do things for very good reasons or at least it’s a good reason at one time. Culture and society downloads certain way of being so that we “fit in”.

Do you know what you want?
Do you know how to get what you want?
Who do you hurt when getting what you want by doing fucked up stuff?

Carl Jung taught the world about the concept of shadow. Shadow is a negative self belief that we subconsciously harbor inside ourselves. We receive messages growing up and we try to scheme and strategize ways to get what we want. Those ways sabotage our success in all facets of our lives and stop us from getting what we really want as adults.

Do you do what you say you’re going to do?
Are you dependable?

Do you know the difference between the ego part of yourself that you’ve created and the real you? Meaning…do you know who you are?
Do you share who you are with the ones closest to you? Why or why not? Tell the truth.

Where are you headed in life?
What will you have to let go of in order to move forward? To grown up?
